Reflection
I really enjoyed this project for many reasons. First, it was very convenient. It can be very exhausting when you have to go through pages and pages of study guides and notes, but with the website, everything was in one place and easy to access. It was also very open ended and allowed for a lot of creativity. As I looked through all of our pages, we all did it somewhat differently because we all learn in different ways. This website allowed us to get really good studying in from searching for the content to put on the website.
Second, it was very helpful to be working in a group. It’s a daunting task to cover every unit from the entire year in one study guide in weeks before the test. By working in groups, it was easy to get a lot of details about each subject, not just the subjects that we already knew a lot about and threw what we knew in there. This forced us to look for deeper details in our research. It also allowed more time for actually studying the content, not just trying to rush to finish the project. With a group, it can be great to bounce ideas off of each other to make the website and study guide even more beneficial.
Finally, it was fun! I actually really enjoyed looking for content to put on the website because I was motivated by the AP test. By putting better content on the website, it was a lot easier to better prepare for the test. This project was for my own benefit, not just a project to keep us busy. I enjoyed having this motivation to do well on this project.
This project was such a great way to get a lot of studying in a convenient but at the same time, a very helpful way. I enjoyed working in a group and being motivated to do well on this project to really do well on the AP test. Without this project, I think my AP test score would be much lower than it would be with it.
